What a website marketing specialist actually does
A web designer builds the site. A website marketing specialist is responsible for what it brings in. That changes almost every decision: what goes at the top of the page, how many words it carries, where the enquiry form sits, and whether the page answers what someone typed into Google.
We're Tim and Tanya, and between us we have more than 50 years of marketing experience. We work from Bororen in Central Queensland, with businesses across Australia. Most of our work is a website redesign, not a first website. You're already trading and you have customers, but the site no longer brings anything in. If that's you, this page is written for you.
How a rebuild runs
A process we've refined on every site.
- We work out what it has to do. Who's arriving, what they need to believe before they act, and the one thing you want them to do. A site with three competing goals gets none of them.
- We write and design together. Words and layout are the same job. Write the words after the design, and you get a beautiful page that says nothing.
- We build it and put it live. In days, not months. A rebuild that takes half a year has already cost you half a year of enquiries.
- We train you to run it. Before we hand it over, we show you how to change your own words, prices, photos and pages. You'll never wait on us to fix a typo.
Two ways to buy
Buy it outright. Five pages from $2,000, a custom build with unlimited pages from $3,000, and ecommerce from $4,000, all plus GST. You pay half on start and half on completion. Then it's yours, with nothing to pay afterwards. We don't do ongoing maintenance; that's what the training is for. You shouldn't have to pay an agency every time you change a phone number.
Spread it over a subscription. From $79.99 + GST a month, plus a deposit, on a two-year term. That covers hosting, daily backups, security updates and break-fix support. If something breaks, or you break it, we fix it. Stay on after two years and your next rebuild is free. New design work outside the original scope is $150 + GST an hour.
Neither option includes us editing your content. We train you to do that, on purpose.
Who this is not for
We would rather say so here than on a call. This is not the right fit for a business before its first revenue, for a buyer whose only question is who is cheapest, for an enterprise with a procurement process, or for another agency looking to white-label a build. We do not run standalone ad campaigns, build custom software, or design logos and brand identities.

What people ask before they enquire
Will a rebuild cost me my Google rankings?
Usually there's a short dip, and we work to keep it small.
We keep your page addresses where we can. Where one has to change, we redirect it, so an old link still lands somewhere real. No client has come back to us about a lost ranking.
Most sites we're asked to rebuild aren't ranking for much worth protecting. If yours is, say so in your enquiry, and we'll look before we touch anything.
Is there a contract?
Only on the subscription. Buying outright has no contract.
Bought outright, you pay half on start and half on completion, and nothing is ongoing.
The subscription runs for an initial two years, because the build cost is spread across the payments. Cancel early and you pay out the balance. The files are then yours.
Do I own the website?
Yes. Bought outright, it's yours on completion.
On the subscription, your monthly payments buy the site over two years, so it's fully yours at the end of the term. Move sooner, pay out the balance, and we release the files.
Stay on past two years and your next rebuild costs nothing, with no second deposit. That starts another two-year term.
What happens to my domain and email?
Both stay yours, and your email keeps working.
Your domain stays in your name and in your account. We only point a record at our hosting.
We don't host or manage email. If you use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, nothing changes, and we set the MX records so mail keeps arriving.
What happens when something breaks?
On the subscription we fix it free; bought outright, it's yours.
The subscription includes hosting, daily backups, security updates and break-fix support. If it breaks, or you break it, we fix it at no cost.
Neither route includes us editing your content. That's what the training is for.
We work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm AEST. There's no 24/7 line, but urgent problems get looked at the day you tell us.
I'm not technical. Can I really run it myself?
Yes. Most owners learn it in about twenty minutes.
Before handover we run a recorded Zoom session with you: 15 to 20 minutes for a standard site, about 30 for a shop. You learn to edit content, add pages and post to your blog. Shop owners also learn products and orders.
You keep the recording, for when you've forgotten it four months later.
Do I have to write all the words myself?
No. Send what you have, and we'll shape it.
Almost nobody hands over enough copy. What arrives usually needs shaping for search, and for the order people read things in.
The custom build, from $3,000, is written alongside you. The ecommerce build, from $4,000, is written for you. Both are plus GST, like every price here.
